What data fursuit.party keeps, what we use it for and how you control it. No fine print.

Who we are
fursuit.party is a community directory of fursuit makers. For anything about your data, write to us at staff@fursuit.party.
What data we keep
When you create an account: username, display name, email, phone, country, language, bio and photo (those two only if you add them) and your encrypted password, which we never see. If you add a studio: whatever you put on its profile (texts, prices, styles, socials, photos and the location with the precision you choose). We also keep your reviews, favorites, reports and chat messages.
What's public and what isn't
Your account email and phone are never shown to anyone. Your username, display name, country, bio, photo and reviews are public, and so is everything you put on your studio's profile. Chat messages are private between you and the studio: the moderation team only reads them if someone reports them. If you choose an approximate location, we show a ~1.5 km area and never store more precision than that.
Photos
When you upload a photo, we remove its metadata (GPS location, camera model, comments) before saving it.
Cookies and storage
We use a session cookie so you don't have to log in all the time; the site needs it to work. Your browser stores your preferences: language, theme, color palette and your cookie choice. Google Analytics and Google Ads only load if you accept them in the cookie notice, and you can change your mind anytime from "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of the page. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
Services we use
Cloudflare hosts the site, the database and the photos, protects us from attacks and sends emails. Google Fonts serves the fonts. Maps come from OpenFreeMap (OpenStreetMap data) and city search uses Photon, by Komoot. Google Analytics and Google Ads only with your consent. These services can see your IP address when your browser requests something from them.
What we use it for
To run the directory, the chat and the reviews; to send you email notifications if you have them on; for site security (for example, limiting attempts per IP) and to moderate reported content. We don't sell your data.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. If you delete it from Dashboard → My account, we immediately delete your account, studio, photos, reviews, favorites and conversations. Technical security records, such as per-IP limits, expire on their own within minutes or hours.
Your rights
You can see and edit your data from the dashboard and delete your account whenever you want. To ask for a copy of your data or a correction, write to us at staff@fursuit.party.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above. If it's an important change, we'll let you know on the site.
